Biography

William (Bill) Bojorquez has over 30 years of experience in electric system engineering, planning, and operations, with senior roles at Southern California Edison, Cal-ISO, ERCOT, and Hunt. An expert in transmission, energy storage, and renewable integration, he developed over $3 billion in transmission projects for Hunt Consolidated before joining SPLIGHT.

As ERCOT's Vice President of System Planning, Bill led the $7 billion CREZ expansion studies approved in 2008. He has also contributed to HVDC interconnections and battery projects, serving as a board member for Hunt's battery efforts and aiding the formation of the Hunt Energy Network.
