Biography

Orestes Macchione is Siemens Energy’s Head of Sales for HVDC & Grid Access Solutions in the USA, with over a decade of experience in this role. He has also led similar initiatives in the UK and has driven HVDC and FACTS projects across Europe and Asia.

An active IEEE Senior member, Orestes has chaired panels and contributed to several working groups. He is a frequent presenter at key industry events, where he shares his expertise on power transmission and grid access solutions.
