Biography

Tim Mensalvas is a Senior Research Consultant at TRC, an environmental consulting firm specializing in clean energy technology assessments, code and policy development, and electrification program implementation. With over 7 years of experience in the clean energy sector, he is an experienced electrification program manager, currently researching heat pump load flexibility commercialization and analyzing residential battery storage performance in new construction homes.

Tim’s experience includes supporting decarbonization programs such as the Clean Power Alliance Reach Code Program, Bay Area Reach Code Program, All Electric Design Technical Assistance Program, and the San Francisco Public Utility Commission’s EV Charge SF Electric Vehicle Infrastructure technical assistance and incentive program.
