BIOGRAPHY

Kalyan Sen serves as the President and Chief Technology Officer of Sen Engineering Solutions, Inc., where he concentrates on power flow control technology. He has also contributed to the field through his work as an IEEE Power & Energy Society Distinguished Lecturer since 2002.

Kalyan invented the Sen Transformer, a power flow control device with serial #1 now installed on the US grid at the Electric Power Research Institute laboratory. His presentations on this technology have been delivered more than 250 times across 20 countries.
